This is where you can Download, your Free Ancestry Member Tree (AMT) into FTMM-2. From there you can update the tree in either place and use the SyncNow and the two trees will be in Sync with one another. Why? I like to do my work on my PC. However, if I go on a research trip somewhere, I can still work on it while on the trip. I can also work on the AMT using the Ancestry APP for my iPad. But the real reason is that there are Charts and Reports in FTMM-2 that are not available in the AMT. Does that help?
