I have noticed with FTMM 2 that the people I am adding to the database are creating new places instead of using existing ones. I have a number of records for people born in Indiana. I correctly change the name to Indiana, USA using the place name that already exists in my database. I now have two instances of Indiana, USA instead of one. I have tried to replace one with the other, but have not been able to get that to work. The window that asks to cancel or replace does not leave the screen even after I select the replace button, and the extra entry is not replaced. Howard
