Since I would have to upgrade Parallels in addition to paying for the FTMM "update," though.... ;-) Apologies if I sound like a computer teacher. (I was!) I don't think this applies to you, but.... For any relatively inexperienced Mac user who wants to try this method, remember that you're moving into the PC environment with Parallels. Because of that, your FTM database is vulnerable to the same viruses, etc., that a Windows machine would be. A PC virus won't damage your Mac files, but the portion of the Mac HD that is reserved for Windows can still be attacked so you need to take the usual precautions. Thanks for the suggestion, John. If I wouldn't have to buy new software to run this one application, I would do it -- I'm still looking longingly at that beautiful FTMM interface.
