I was running FTMM 2 and have run into the dreaded synch fail again. I did everything suggested from both online and from support. After all that, I was still unable to synch. On a whim, I decided to migrate my file back to the Windows version. Amazingly enough, the windows version was able to create and synch with a new file on Ancestry where the Mac version could not. The difference that I have seen in general is that the MAC version is always a couple steps behind the WIN version. Whenever updates come out, they are always for the Win side well before the MAC side. and even after those updates, the MAC side is still a couple generations behind WIN. I would prefer to run the MAC version so I don't need to always have Parallels running, but WIN is the more up to date better working version.
