It worked fine on all three of my trees before the update back in March or April. I unlinked my tree so that I could download the file to the Family Tree Maker 2012 for the pc so that my sister could have a copy of the tree for her program. Now I have tried every trick on the tech boards to get my tree to download to my Mac 2 program. Safe mode, plugging directly into the router, trying to download it on a brand new top of the line iMac of my father's with a different internet provider, and yet the Mac 2 program download fails every time on my largest tree. I went back to my son's pc and the program downloads and syncs just fine. I want to use the program on my mac and not have to kick my son off his pc every time that I want to work on my tree. Why can't ancestry get the Mac program to work as well as the pc program? I am so frustrated that I have spent money buying both versions of the Mac program over the years, and yet ! it is useless to me. I know that it isn't a faulty file attached to my tree since it downloads and works with the pc program. What a waste of money the mac program has been.
