Author: robsnorth Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/topics.software.ftmmac/170.1.1.1.1.1.2.1.1.1.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I reiterate my original problem which has not been tackled in this thread, only being disbelieved by those who have not experienced it. 1 - FACT - FTM2 syncs with Ancestry.co.uk without problem regardless of which I change or delete data in - as long as I do not use Ancestry Mobile. 2- FACT - Ancestry Mobile (iPad) updates Ancestry.co.uk and vice versa OK once 3 - FACT - Once I have used Ancestry Mobile FTM2 Mac will not sync with Ancestry.co.uk and vice versa. 4 - FACT - Once I have used Ancestry Mobile it will not send or receive data from Ancestry.co.uk 5 - FACT - all software has the latest updates. 6 - FACT - There was no problem between Ancestry Mobile and Ancestry.co.uk until I started sync from FTM2 Mac. If you do not experience or cannot reproduce this then please do not waste my time arguing. I stopped allowing Ancestry Mobile from exchanging data with ancestry.co.uk and there is no further problem. It would be nice to use Ancestry Mobile without problem again though if I can find out why it upsets the system. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
