I'm still annoyed that I bought the previous version when FTM 2 had already been released in the States, however, I did get a cheaper upgrade version that came with a free month subscription to Ancestry so I don't feel quite so bad! I only installed it last night and I have to say, so far, I love it! It is sooooo much better than the previous version. It is lovely having the software fully linked to my tree on the website and it seems to work fine. The information transferred initially very well indeed. Much more accurately than with the previous GEDCOM download and merge that I had to do with FTM 2010 for mac. The web interface seems pretty good too. Again much better than previously and I find it pretty much as good as being in the site itself! Time will tell I guess, but so far I'm impressed! Oh, by the way, I did install the upgrade that was offered after initial installation so I guess many of the bugs reported in some of these posts have been cured since the software was first released over the pond.
