Virginia-born brothers William FRYER and J. FRIER are listed in the 1870 Leitchfield Grayson Co. KY Census. William is living in a boarding house and is listed as "railroad worker/laborer." All the men in this HH are working for the railroad. William was born <1847> somewhere in VA. J. FRIER is a stone cutter, married and is living about 3 houses from this boarding house. Do not know when J. FRIER came to KY. Searching for any info on these VA-born FRYER/FRIER/FRYAR (any spellings) brothers. J. Frier is found after this 1870 census. William has disappeared.
