Word had it that the three brothers, George William, Alexander C., and John Richard (maybe went by the name Richard) had applied for immigration papers to Australia and Canada and whatever country responded first that is where they went. The other two brothers came to Canada in about 1920-1. They also had a sister Mary Ann Fryer (born circa 1870). John Richard supposedly went to Australia. I do not know if John Richard was married or if he had any children before he left England. (ie I do not know if Charles may have been a son of his). Their father was Joseph Fryer (bricklayer) and their mother Mary Ann Coulson of West Hartlepool, Durham England. In the 1891 census they lived in Stranton West Hartlepool, Durham England at 42 Gainsford Street. John Richard is listed in the 1891 census in England as being a bricklayer's apprentice. Any info posted would be of help to eliminate or include them in the family. Thanks for the reply. Barb
