W. Luick. She was born in October 1892 in Franklin County Missouri and died July 31, 1979 in St. Louis, Missouri. She married Paul Guelbert sometime after December 1920 when Manuel Cromer died. Manuel Cromer's first wife was Tressa M. Carpenter, daughter of Sylvester Carpenter and Leatha Crockett. Tressa died in March 1905 from pneumonia 17 days after her son, Austin, was born (2/28/1905) in Stanton, Missouri. Manuel Cromer and Mary Emma Fryer had three boys who lived to adulthood.
