However I don't believe Sarah would have been the mother of William as they didn't marry until 11/7/1804 in Knoxville, Knox, TN. John and his Unknown 1st Wife are already linked to being the parents of Jeremiah Fryer, Sr. and John A. Fryer, Sr. John was son of William Fryer and Margaret Love. There are DAR records on William as he was a private in Capt. John Ingall Company 2nd NC Regiment commanded by Col. John Patton. This is my only clue to what part of NC. I haven't tracked this Regiment down yet. I have references and extractions to the DAR Fryer patriots but don't have the documents. If anyone has them it would be very helpful to me as I have been working on a lot of different Fryer/Fryar's in the US. William's line I refer to as the Irish Fryer's as William was born in County Down, Ulster, Ireland. Also interested in the 1830 census info mentioned in the prior post. John Fryer, Sr. I don't believe would have been on any 1830 census as he is supposed to have died 1815-1820 in Sevier County, TN. His death date is not corroborated though so it could be in error. I may have this census but just haven't copied it to the correct branch. Jefferson, Sevier and Knox Counties TN border each other and are near the NC border. John was born abt 1758 in NC. Sarah Jack was born abt 1762 in Knox County, TN and died in Knox County, TN. I haven't verified these dates.
