He did not get off the train in Birmingham but continued on to a sanitarium as he had TB. As far as we know no family member saw him after this. He died in the sanitarium. The family moved to Birmingham so his wife could be near family as she had arthritis & was unable to look after her children without help. Sons Arnold & Norman Arthur went into lodgings, 2 daughters went into service & a 3rd Molly was put up for adoption. Does this connect with anyone?
