HI im researching my fryer family tree it starts with a sarah friar born around 1811 belfast ireland and worked as a house maid in co'antrim ireland sarah was caught doing house robbery and was sentenced to seven years transportation. SARAH FRIAR was on the asia 7 and arrived in australia in 1830 SARAH was going to marry james quin another irish person who was given a life sentence. JAMES quinn was from co'kerry and arrived here on the brampton in 1823 sarah gave birth to his daughter sarah friers quinn born august 1832 port macquarie she married a james louis edward guy /gay he was french sarah guy in 1859 died at paddington maybe from child birth. the governor would not let them marry due to james having a family back home in ireland and him wanting to have them sent out.
