    3. To all on the list Starting today (Monday, 6/10) and extending over several days, RootsWeb is going to be moving the list servers and other machines. No messages sent are expected to be lost, but the lists will be down for a while when it happens; please don't post "why aren't I getting mail" during that time.....you will when it comes back up, and you don't want half of it to be everyone on the list asking why aren't they getting mail. If you have trouble reaching other RW servers this week, it's probably for the same reason; try again in an hour or two or three..... Thanks! Ralph Martin List Administrator

    3. Hi June and everyone else, I'm also new to the list, my Fryers line, so far, begins in Fewston Yorkshire with Hardisty Fryer c. in fewston church 20 April 1834 (source bishops transcripts) Whose parents were Robert Fryer and spouse unknown, Hardisty married Mary Ann? from Otley they had a son Arthur B. 11 June 1876 and he was my Grandmother Evelyn Fryer's (B.13 Sep 1904) father. he was a tailor in Liverpool and Leeds. Does this tie into any other Fryers research or ring any bells.
