    3. Hello List Members, I am conducting list housekeeping for the month, making sure that all e-mail address's are still valid. Please remember to post to the list! Alot of Reunions have either gone on or are getting ready to start. My husband and i cannot wait to get to our next one, another family reunion is about to start for us in 3 weeks and we just got home from the last one! Post stories, lineages, or even anything that you have found that deals with the list name even if it does'nt pertain perticularly to your branch of the family. Remember all messages to the list go to the archives, so it is entirely possible that someone may be looking for the information that you hold. Thanks, Shirley List Mom

    2. Shirley, my mom, Margaret Rose FROELICH Green, was a member of this list since I just now found the e-mail that was sent to her address. She took ill last fall and passed away this March 19th after being diagnosed with terminal cancer a month prior. I have been clearing out her e-mail box until my brother can be given lessons on how to do e-mail. I was wondering if you could remove this e-mail address from your list. She was the genealogist of the family, and my brother and I do not have the time to devote to doing a lot of research. Thank you, Ruth M. 3. Hello List Member's, It is with deep sorrow that I write to you today to let you know of one of our fellow list member's passing. I am sure that you read the e-mail from her daughter Ruth that was posted yesterday. Margaret Rose FROELICH Green passed away on March 19th. She was a wonderful asset to our little list and was one of the original members when this list was started. She will be deeply missed. God Speed Margaret Rose and Thank You So Much for all you have done for the world of genealogy. Shirley

    3. Shirley, The second Hoffman/Froehlich Reunion will be Sunday, September 5, 2004, at the Charles Murray Brooking Park Concession Barn on US 25 North, just outside Georgetown, Scott County, Kentucky. The reunion is for the descendants of John & Catherina Froehlich and Charles Hoffman. The building will be open at 10:00 am for those who choose to come early. It is air conditioned, wheel chair accessible and a vehicle can pull up to the door. There is plenty of seating, a full kitchen with coolers for cold food and drinks. The meal will be potluck. Drinks and utensils will be provided. Donations will be taken to cover the rental of the building and the supplies. You may bring any item you wish to donate to the drawing for prizes. Please bring any old pictures and family histories you may be working on for others to see. Last year, everyone did not get around to see all the items others had, so bring them again even if you brought them before. If you have questions, please email me and I will try to get the answers for you. Thanks for posting this. A virus that is distributed as an attachment will not reach you through a RootsWeb mailing list. > > A recent virus, and several imitations of it, may result in your receiving an e-mail (or a greeting card) with a virus attached, that appears to come from RootsWeb or from an address you are familiar with. Some virus will send a message to all the unread messages in the infected person's mailbox folders; another will use addresses found in the infected person's address book. They send messages using a forged address (for instance, using RootsWeb or the infected person in the return address). The subject line may be from a message that was recently received, making it even more credible. While it may appear to come from RootsWeb, that is only an illusion of the virus -- our address and the subject line is a forgery. > > What can you do? Protect yourself by never opening an attachment from someone you do not know, or that look suspicious. If an unexpected attachment comes from someone you do know, write to confirm that the attachment was sent by them prior to opening it. If you have an e-mail from RootsWeb, and there is an attachment of any kind, don't open it. Use a virus protection program. Delete it. Then empty the trash bin to make sure it is gone. If you are using an e-mail program that stores attachments elsewhere on your computer, such as Eudora, find it there and delete it too. > > ============================== > Gain access to over two billion names including the new Immigration > Collection with an Ancestry.com free trial.
