Hello List Members! This list has been very quiet lately! Please lets get posting once again. We have had many new members to join, let them know your heritage, let them know who you are searching for. If you have already posted your lineage or the people you are seeking, post it once again. You never know if someone new has joined the list that possibly knows of whom you seek! Also take note!: If you have previously posted to the list on an old address, you should re-post it again using your new address so that other list members can easily write back to you with what they know! A FEW TIPS FOR POSTING TO THE LIST: 1. Always put your ancestors surname in CAPITAL letters! 2. Always put your ancestors surname in the subject line. 3. Add to your post any dates and locations you may have for that/those persons. 4. Always post any new information you come accross to the list even if it does not particulary pertain to your direct line. *This may be the way someone else is able to link to your lineage!!!* 5. If you should happen to come accross a website that pertains ONLY to genealogy that you feel may help fellow seekers You may post it to the list. 6. Always post your source of information, be it birth / death certificates, baptismal certificates, news paper aritcles, court house records, census records, URL's, family lore, bible entries, etc.... THE DONT'S OF POSTING!: 1. Never post Spam Mail, Rude Comments or Suggestions, Arguments, Jokes, Chain Letters or any other type of post other than genealogy related. 2. Keep the list clean! Please let me stress the dont's of the list, it could mean that you would be un subscribed or banned from the list for not following the rules.
