On 30 Oct 1916,Town of Fremont, Sullivan County,N.Y.. George F. Froelich, son of Frank and Lena (Rutz) Froelich wed Ida May Schreier, daughter of Adolph and Cornelia (Berry) Schreier. Adolf was my great grandfather's eldest brother. My great grandfather was Henry F. Schrier/ Schreier and while I am aware of the spelling change, I have never been able to find out why. I don't worry about it since there are the Molyneaux on the other side of the family tree with their 14 variations, all the way to Mulnex/Mulnix,/Mulnox, and the Littles/Liddles/Lytels with too many variations to count. Name changing was a popular indoor sport in the 1800s. > I know very little about the Sullivan County Froelichs. My father > would never discuss them.
