He emigrated to New York abt 1870 and his wife, Margaretta who was born abt Jun 1851in Germany, emigrated to New York abt 1874. They were married in 1876 and lived in Hempstead, New York with their four sons: Adolph, William, Robert, and Charles. That is all I got. I can't find anymore information on him.
