My great-grandmother had a sister who emigrated from Co Meath in Ireland to New York in 1903. Her name was Elizabeth Durnin, or maybe Lizzie or Elsie. She married a man called George Karl Henry Von Frisch, who was from Geestemunde in Bremerhaven in Germany. He had arrived in the USA in 1905/6 and he was born in 1887. I'd love to find out more about George, and his life with Lizzie, and what happened to them. Did they have children? I don't think so but I'm not sure.
