Thanks to those list members who provided the information relating to Simon Horn, Sr's will. I think we're making a lot of progress understanding our East Jersey ancestors!! I have heard reference to documentation that shows Lafford French's christening/birth to Joseph and Hannah Horn FRENCH; however, the only reference I have been able to locate is to IGI entries that come from individual researchers. One identifies the birth as Raritan River, Somerset Co., and includes a death date of 1803, which is not correct. The other identifies the birth as Raritan River in Morris Co., which I don't think is correct either. Unless someone can provide additional information about where we can locate the record of Lafford's birth to Joseph and Hannah Horn FRENCH, I think we will need to keep looking. Perhaps the will of the younger Simon Horn who died in 1760 will contain the information. Since he died in 1760, assuming this is the husband of Hannah Horn, he may mention his grandchildren.
