French, who was b. 23 March 1812, Edgefield Co, SC; d. 22 October 1879, Pike Co, AL. Joseph was married (to my g2grandmother) Mary W. (Brown), 27 June 1833, Houston Co, GA. We are told, however, that Joseph's father deceased young leaving his Mother to raise Joseph and his siblings. Have you by chance run into anything on these g2grandparents and family of mine?
