Samuel (Jr) or the Lafford line that there is so much about? I have big gap between NC and TN for Samuel, have a GA connection, I think? But SC? By the way, I have seen a Rootsweb World Tree that shows Samuel (Jr) as son of a Uriah French of NJ. It shows Samuel Married to Mary Wayne and having children born in Mississippi. These are new names to me and fit in a gap between the names I have, so I find that part interesting. The source shows them born in Lincoln County Missippi, which did not exist at the time, although earlier counties were along the same area of Missippi river.. Are you aware of this? Garland French
