Hello all I just checked out the DNA site and looked at the family groups. One in particular caught me. James French Sr. b possibly in Andover Essex Mass d. NH. 1817. Does any one have his descendants? I am looking for a James French b abt 1786 in prob. Andover. He married an Abigail Fletcher b abt 1765 in prob. Ipswich Ma. The family moved to Norway Me in Oxford County in abt 1798. Children: James Jr b 1785 Jacob b 1788 Esther b 1792 Sarah b 1794 Charles b 1796 George b 1799 Alice b 1802 Clarissa b 1805 James the father died according to the History of Norway Me in 1812 and his wife Abigail in 1827 but there is no burrial record for them and can find no burrial site. Know were his children are burried.
