Inquire of Joseph Reade in NY" I looked for Joseph Reade at rootsweb and there is a tree there that shows a Joseph Reade married Anna French. Lists 6 children: Joseph Reade, Jr., Laurence, Mary, Sarah, Anne and John. Also shows daughter Anne b. 1726 married Gerrit Van Horn on 22 Mar 1751 in NY. This Anna FRENCH (m. Reade) would be about the same age as Joseph I and wife Allee.
