All, William FRENCH apparently was a quiet man and didn't create much wake in his life. We do know that he participated in the RW, lived on the North Pecolet River in SC, went to KY, then TN where he died in 1808. We know he had brothers, Lafford, Joseph and Simon. His children are known in part: Jane, Hugh, John, Sarah, Hannah, Mary and Susan. We don't know when or where he was born, who he married, anything about her, or where they are buried.
