Am particularly interested in the son, William, mentioned in the recent post about John French of Rutherford Co. This William is about the right age to have been the William who came to Arkansas in the early 1800's. He and Nancy Chapman French were early settlers in the northeastern area of Arkansas before it was even a Territory or State, their oldest child was born in KY in 1804. He and Nancy were GGG Grandparents. Have tried to connect William to the Christian Co., KY and Spartanburg Co., SC lines, but no proof to date. Also have tried to find Nancy's family line, as her birthplace is given as SC in census data. Regards, Grace
