Found interesting information while reading the diaries of George Washington regarding his neighbor, Penelope Manley French and also, a house guest he had by the name of Benjamine Delaney that was traveling to be married to an Elizabeth French whose parents lived at Rose Hill near Mt. Vernon. They were married February 10, 1773. This is in the American Memory web site which is provided by the Library of Congress. Diaries of George Washington, Vol. III. page 160 or image 173.
