She applied 4 Dec 1855 & was denied. They said she did not prove his death. She applied again 22 March 1859 & died soon afterward; he is listed under the French family cemetery; George Hedges French (1 Oct 1784-28 June 1847) was b. in KY. He married 8 June 1809 in Louisville, Jefferson Co, KY, Mary Robbins (ca 1790-ca 1860), who was b. in VA. FRENCH FAMILY GRAVES Northwest Township. Section 29, T3N R2W. Abandoned.
