Rebecca's father, was most likely, Henry Anderson, who was in Logan Co., KY when Rebecca was born there in 1788, and In Montgomery Co., TN at the same time that Samuel French was there in the late 1700s and early 1800s, before Gideon and Rebecca were married in Stewart Co., TN which was formed from Montgomery. Gideon and Rebecca Anderson French named their second son, Henry. The first was Samuel after Gideon's father and second Henry after Rebecca's father, according to English naming patterns. Henry Anderson's father was Timothy Anderson. If memory serves me, Timothy was the son of Cornelius Anderson of NJ.
