Forget to say that Albemarle was an original North Carolina County beginning in 1664. From it was formed Chowan in 1670, Perquimans in 1679, and Currituck and Pasquotank in 1681. So it is likely, that Thomas of Albemarle in 1696 could be the father, son or brother of Richard who died in 1712 in Perquimans. Julia
