Scott, French Listers, Although this is not my direct line, Private (Revolutionary War) William French, born 25 January 1713 of Billerica, MA, (with spouse Tabitha Pierce of Chelmsford, MA) is the son of William French, born 8 August 1687, Billerica, Middlesex, MA and who dies 25 February 1745/46 in Billerica. He married Mehitable Patten, she born 28 February 1687 in Billerica and dies 15 January 1743, Billerica. I believe William was also a Sergeant though, obviously, not in the Revolutionary War.
