Thanks Dianna: I have a picture of a tomb stone taken in the Nield cemetery, (out in the middle of a pasture) of a Bettie French, but it says wife of W. E. French, born 5 Apr 1858, died Aug 21, 1881 - Evidently a different Bettie.

Bettie (daughter of George and Isabelle) is buried in the Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Her brother, William, is also buried there with his wife Mollie. I don't know who the Bettie French is in the Nield Cemetery but I will try to find out for you.
