My Father had no sons but he had two brothers. The interesting note is that in recent history the Thomas' have usually named their second son Thomas not the first. Because my father favored his middle brother, named Thomas, more than the older one named Jacob and since my cousin by Jacob is difficult// I would go to Uncle Thomas' line with his son and only child, Thomas. Unfortunately, he moved after his parents died to Lewisburg Tenn. And there had three more children plus the 2 born in SJ. I believe he has three sons. I believe they might also have homes in Florida and Nashville, Tn. Also there is a Richard French, a retired Botany professor, out of Port Republic NJ / Lived in Fredricksburg {?} where he taught.
