ILL I found Abraham, Mann and Robert Phillips in Stewart Co, TN along with Samuel French, Thomas White,Thomas Almon, Warren Fortner, James Wyatt, James Womack, Alexander Walker and Enoch James. Pattie French was the mother of Doris French. Doris (a male) French married Sarah Thomas - possibly a sister of Nancy Thomas (who married Aaron French, Giles Alexander and James Philips.) My Philips family is closely related to the Levitt family. Someone wrote me not long ago asking about Louvina Hurst who married Romelon Levitt in IL 1849. Romelon probably died and Lavina (Hurst) Levitt married Mansfield Foster 1855 in IL. Interesting that in the 1850 census Nancy (Thomas) Philips has a Hurst boy in her household. Pattie died in 1852 and is buried at Prairie Chapel, Black Twp, Posey Co., as is Ralph. Doris was born in New Jersey on 10 Jul 1792 and married Sarah Thomas in 1818.
