Glad to see posts again. For a normally busy mail list, I was beginning to think I'd never see some of the terrific posts again. I am descended from MD (St. Marys county) and KY, (Hardin and Jefferson County) FRENCH's. Earliest entry I have is Martin from Galway, IRE, son James. My G-G-Grandfather was Charles FRENCH from Colesburg KY, married Lucinda WISE. His son Lawrence resided in Louisville most of his life. I have quite a bit of this line's information and I am willing to share.
