Interesting to note that you have the name "Wilburn" as a middle name and I have a George Wellborn French in my family tree. I have been wondering if anyone knows more about the WELBORN / WILBORN family and if that would help me find clues to where Samuel and George Hedges FRENCH were before Kentucky....perhaps I should check out Fincastle County, VA! Any help appreciated!
