Would one of your lineage be a Charles R. French who was born about 1818-1819. Charles was by late-husbands g-grandfather. I found him listed on the 1860 census from Fayette County, Iowa, where it said he was born in Connecticut. Thanks for checking Joyce DameFrench@aol.com
