Does anyone have the name Elmer Merton French in his/her line? I am just beginning to look into my father's family. His father was Edward James French, b. Irvington, NY on 28 June 1896. Edward's father was Elmer Merton French, b.? ; his Mother was Mary Jane Cheney, b. 3 Oct. 1874 in Franklin, NY.
