Hello Mary Agnes--- Your message is most intrigueing to me, for you see one of my ggrandfathers was Joseph P. French (1812-1879) who lived and deceased in Alabama (Pike County). However, so far, we have been unable to find any information on his parents and siblings. either. Would it not be grand if we could find that he and your French ancestor were related?
