All, There is an issue that needs to be resolved. We know that Joseph and Hannah (Horn) FRENCH had Lafford (b. 1753 NJ) and others, and that Lafford was later in SC during the RW. Lafford subsequently died in 1834 in NC. What we don't know is where/when Lafford's parents died. One source says the Joseph died in 1760 in NJ (documentation unknown). Others are of the opinion that Joseph and Hannah came to SC with their family and died there. Do we have any concrete data to resolve this issue? Best regards, Hugh
