I have George FRENCH b. 1803, son of Raphael Thomas FRENCH, married twice 1. to Elizabeth LEE, 5/4/1817 (he would only be 14 yrs old?) Children: Rebecca Ann and Elizabeth 2. marriage to Margaret S. Geoghegan, 4/26/1827 Children Melany, Ambrose, Columbus, Mary Ellen, Raphael Denton I recently found in my Aunt's copy of Ancestral Trails marriages Hardin County, 1793 - 1829 the following entry: FRENCH, George, and Mrs. Margaret A. VERTREES. Surety John Lee, Jr. Both of age and married before. 4-Mar-1827. T. Butler. A178 Can anyone identify with any of these FRENCH's and straighten me out? Although this isn't my immediate line, George was brother to my Susanna and Elisha.
