I thought Hugh's message was in keeping with our efforts to keep the records straight....I don't believe he "jumped on you" as you say......we need to make sure the records we leave behind help future genealogists, not hinder them....I think we've all been on some wind goose chases because of erroneous information left by previous researchers. I don't think he meant you any "slight"......Jan Lund -----Original Message----- From: jlfrench <jlfrench@iname.com> To: FRENCH-L@rootsweb.com <FRENCH-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Monday, May 22, 2000 10:49 PM Subject: Re: [FRENCH-L] Re: Lafford (1753 NJ-1834 NC) >I did not introduce as fact that Joseph and Hannah Horn French did not go to >SC. I have corresponed with Hugh and we have got things right. It really is no concern of yours and you should not butt in when you are not asked. I do not need you telling me what to do. I really can not think of a reason for getting an e-mail from you in the first place. If I tell someone they are full of it that is my business not yours. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Janice Chastain Lund" <genhelp@worldnet.att.net> To: <FRENCH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, May 23, 2000 12:04 AM Subject: Re: [FRENCH-L] Re: Lafford (1753 NJ-1834 NC) > I thought Hugh's message was in keeping with our efforts to keep the records > straight....I don't believe he "jumped on you" as you say......we need to > make sure the records we leave behind help future genealogists, not hinder > them....I think we've all been on some wind goose chases because of > erroneous information left by previous researchers. > > I don't think he meant you any "slight"......Jan Lund > > -----Original Message----- > From: jlfrench <jlfrench@iname.com> > To: FRENCH-L@rootsweb.com <FRENCH-L@rootsweb.com> > Date: Monday, May 22, 2000 10:49 PM > Subject: Re: [FRENCH-L] Re: Lafford (1753 NJ-1834 NC) > > > >I did not introduce as fact that Joseph and Hannah Horn French did not go > to > >SC.
