To everyone trying to reach the French Family Association: I apologize for not answering your communication in a timely manner. My 91-year old mother had a massive stroke followed by a seizure and was in the ICU for several weeks. She is now at home and we alternate taking care of her. It has been a very difficult, painful emergency for our family. I've decreased my work schedule to 4 days per week and intend to work on French genealogy all day Fridays. I'll now be attending to your communication. Please excuse the delay. Best regards, Mara French PS. For anyone wanting to join the FFA or know more about it, please wait until August for inquiries so that I can catch up with our present members. At that time, I'll send email describing the FFA.
Hi Mara - I'm so glad to hear your Mother is improving--my positive thoughts go out to her for continued health. Mara, when I renewed my membership in the FAA, I included payment for the chart my family is covered on, and also asked about the three quarterlies I didn't receive for my last membership year. I haven't received an acknowledgement from the FAA. My check cleared some time ago, and I am getting a little concerned. I understand completely that you have been unable to respond personally, but I had hoped I would hear from someone else connected with the association. I would appreciate your looking into this when time allows. Again, God Bless you and your family. Thank you. Billie B. (Faulk) Rudy
