Frederick P. was the son of Ebenezer FRENCH and Clarissa PORTER [ marriage record shows her as Clarissa Porter BRIDGE, other documents show her as Clarissa PORTER. Frederick's older sister, Delia was born in Troy, Rennselaer County, New York, so he might well have been born there too. The birth and death dates for Frederick P. FRENCH come from his obituary which was in the family bible of his sister Delia A. [FRENCH] HUBBARD. Frederick P. FRENCH married Eliza J. [last name unknown]. They had two sons: Elmer C. FRENCH, b.
