We MUST have some relations in common. I have a great deal of information on FRENCH family from Essex, although I do not have the particular first name you mentioned. A good part of my grandmother's family was born/lived/died on Foulness Island. Their main name is BELTON....some still live there actually. Southend-On-Sea was the birthplace of my own father....William Alfred CRANMER, bor 16 Sep 1893. Would you tell me if you have any of these names in your records?......it seems a great co-incidence that I should find this note after all this time..smile.
