I have a John C. French from Maryland married to Ann Nancy Baker. I think he was born about 1805 according to census records. The moved to Montgomery County KY. I'm wondering if this John C. French could be the same John C. you list. The census also shows a William French also from Maryland, maybe a brother. Do you know if your John C. went to Ky? I have a John FRENCH from MD that did move into KY. Nelson and Hardin Counties. It is quite possible that we are cousins somewhere along the line too. Do you have any more info on your John? I know my William had both sons and brother named John. William was born sometime after 1765, married Mary Boone. Is there any connection between the three families?
