There is a Cassandra French in the line of Burgess French who married a Tarlton. He is the only one on the chart [i.e. # 36] that I have not located. He married in about 1808 so his daughter Cassandra would be younger than those indicated. His list of children I understand came from his father-in-laws pension file. Burgess himself was living in the 1830's because he received proceeds from his brothers' Reuben and George's estates. The bill of particulars says he was in Ohio but I think he may have been in Wayne County, Kentucky. Burgess was the son of John French and Margaret Burgess. John died in 1806 in Fauquier Co. VA In addition to a daughter Cassandra Burgess had several daughters and one son whom he named John a logical choice given his father's name was John. Margaret Amundson
