Hi, I have a Nelson W. FRENCH, that married Lydia STYLES. They had 3 children Elmer (b. 1887), Herbert (b. 1889) and Hattie FRENCH. I have no information on birth place for Nelson, but the children were all born in VT. I don't know if this helps, but thought I'd throw it out there. Good Luck.
