Dear Joyce, You mention the Herald as being the paper but what town is this paper printed in? I have a Mattie French born in Jackson County, Ohio in1857. She was still in Jackson County in 1880 as is in the census. Would appreciate any information that you can give me. This one would be a sister of my ggrandfather. Thank you .
