Could you let me know more about the French book? I am a great grand daughter of William M. French and Christian McInnis French. William was married in 1842, in Dale County, Alabama. He moved to around Jasper, Mississippi, and was ambussed by a nortious gambler in the spring of 1857. His wife moved back to Dale County, Al. to be near her relatives after her baby girl was born. Christian named her Harriet Frances. Note that the Ira French in Mississippi mother was Harriet French. I am a grand daughter of Angus LaFayette French, a son of William M. French.
